About Nicole Horne, LMFT
Hello, my name is Nicole. My primary goal is to help you lead a more fulfilled, resilient, and meaningful life. I appreciate your interest in my practice and am honored to share my background with you. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from La Sierra University and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Baptist University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #78932) in the state of California. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health profession, I have provided care across diverse settings, including community mental health, forensic programs, and private practice. For more than a decade, I have maintained my own practice supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. My clinical expertise includes working with adults and children on concerns such as mood disorders, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and PTSD. Throughout my career, I have conducted diagnostic assessments, facilitated treatment planning, and provided therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs. My treatment approaches integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Family Systems Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Strength-Based Personal Coaching. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate environment where you feel supported as you navigate change, build resilience, and rediscover your sense of purpose.

Philosophy & Approach
At the heart of my practice is a simple but profound belief: we have one mind, one body, one spirit, one soul. Every experience we encounter—whether it is a legal matter, a medical decision, or a traumatic life event—affects the whole person. My approach is holistic, individualized, and grounded in the understanding that mental health is inseparable from the circumstances and environments we live through.
Symptoms of anxiety, depression, or trauma don’t exist in isolation. They can be triggered by life stressors, relationships, environments, or pivotal decisions. That is why I address mental health from multiple angles, while always keeping the whole person in focus.
• Legal Consulting & Forensic Support
Legal matters can profoundly impact mental health. If you or your client is navigating a legal case, I provide therapeutic assessments and support to stabilize functioning, reduce anxiety, and help bring clarity in high-stress situations.
• Cosmetic Surgery Consulting
Cosmetic decisions are deeply personal. Before moving forward, it is important to feel emotionally prepared and confident in your choice. I offer space to process motivations, expectations, and readiness—ensuring your decision supports your overall well-being.
• Anxiety, Trauma, & Mood Care
Whether related to past experiences, current stressors, or major life changes, anxiety and trauma can impair daily living. My treatment is designed to help stabilize symptoms, restore resilience, and reconnect you to a sense of inner balance.
What You Can Expect
No matter what brings you here, the goal is the same: to treat the whole person. My vast experience in mental health allows me to meet you where you are—whether in the midst of legal stress, life transitions, or emotional challenges—and guide you toward stabilization, clarity, and growth.
This is a space to address your needs with compassion, evidence-based care, and a commitment to your long-term well-being.
